    GEO SALT overcomes an important problem with making artificial sea water. Until now, when mixing man made sea salt to make water for an aquarium, it has been impossible to allow for the great variation in the intrinsic mineral balance between the tap water, or other fresh water used to mix the artificial sea water. This water is not always perfect for creating the right conditions in the aquarium.

    This is because tap water not only varies greatly from area to area, but also from season to season. This is a major cause of the aquarium water conditions suddenly and inexplicably deteriorating soon after a water change, even though there had been no problems up to that time.

    GEO SALT gives you a big advantage over other salts by overcoming this major problem. You will notice tiny brownish specks mixed through the white salt. These specs will initially cause the water to have a whitish cloudiness when you mix it up. Do not be alarmed by this, as it simply indicates that GEO SALT is still in the process of creating just the right mineral balance. This cloudiness will clear completely after a while when it has finished creating a finely tuned mineral balance that other artificial sea salt cannot compensate for.
